A custom built instrument can be as unique as the individual player, and the client has a vast range of materials, parts, and styles from which to choose. These choices can seem daunting, however I can help and guide the client through the process from conception of a proposal to realisation of the design. Once the design has been agreed upon I will then undertake to build the instrument desired.

The Giraffe bass
The client requested a short scale electric bass guitar with a comfortable body design and giraffe inlays.
The result is a one piece Sapele body with a Sapele neck and Black Palm fret board.
To reduce the weight the body is thinner than most factory built basses and the pickups mounted in separate sycamore unit on top of the body.
The inlay woods of sycamore and ebony and echoed in the matching control knobs.
