Who We Are

JAY Guitars is a quest - a quest to create beautiful custom stringed instruments that are uniquely special to the individual musician.

Whether building a full custom electric bass or a more simple (but still unique) cigar box guitar, I strive to hand craft an instrument that is an absolute pleasure to play. Equally important to me is the aesthetics of the instrument - they should be as pleasing to the eye as they sound to the ear.

I also ensure that the same care and attention to detail is applied to any clients guitar that is brought to me for setups, repairs or modifications and to any guitar related accessories that I design and make.
